Chattanooga police responded to a shooting Wednesday evening at 718 Castle Drive where they found a 40-year-old black male suffering from a gunshot wound, according to spokesman Officer Nathan Hartwig.
The suspect is in custody and charges may be filed pending the outcome of the investigation.
Homicide investigators believe that the victim and suspect were involved in a poker game and shooting dice when they began to argue which led up to the shooting.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is listed in critical condition.
