White House disgrace

Until recently, you could go to the official website of the White House, whitehouse.gov, and find a brief biographical page on every American president.

And you still can.

But now there's a twist: The Obama administration has seen fit to add bragging points about Obama to the official biographies of almost all the presidents starting with Calvin Coolidge.

And so, for instance, a portion of the page on Coolidge now reads: "On Feb. 22, 1924 Calvin Coolidge became the first president to make a public radio address to the American people. ... President Obama became the first president to hold virtual gatherings and town halls using Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, etc."

Fast forward to Lyndon B. Johnson, and Obama repulsively co-opts the official Johnson biography to shill for ObamaCare. The hacks in the White House didn't even bother to proofread when they tacked on their talking points: "President Lyndon Johnson signed Medicare signed into law in 1965 -- providing millions of elderly healthcare stability. President Obama's historic health care reform law, the Affordable Care Act, strengthens Medicare, offers eligible seniors a range of preventive services with no cost-sharing, and provides discounts on drugs when in the coverage gap known as the 'donut hole.'"

The political games continue in the Obama administration's vandalizing of the page devoted to Ronald Reagan: "In a June 28, 1985, speech Reagan called for a fairer tax code, one where a multi-millionaire did not have a lower tax rate than his secretary. Today, President Obama is calling for the same with the Buffett Rule."

And, on the page for Bill Clinton, the administration boasts, "President Obama has worked with Clinton to make buildings in our country more efficient -- announcing a $4 billion investment in energy efficiency upgrades for commercial buildings."

There is, it seems, no place where the president is not perfectly willing to campaign and promote himself.

Writing in The Washington Examiner, Philip Klein noted: "Sure, a lot of the White House website is naturally going to be used to promote Obama, but there are some areas that should be considered neutral ground -- one of them being the history sections. White House presidential biographies are the type of thing that school kids read, and they should be able to do so without being bombarded by propaganda for whoever is in power."

Meanwhile, somebody might want to beef up security at Mount Rushmore before rogue sculptors from Washington show up to carve out a new face.

There is no end to what this narcissist, POS of a president will do to mislead the sheep that chose to follow his agenda of total destruction of America as we know it.

Was Obama or his wife that said they were going to change the history of the US? They are just keeping promises...

Your assumption that all conservatives are "churchies" is stupid. That would be the same as me saying all libtards are atheist. Neither is true moron.

This article is very misleading. The mention of President Obama is in a section called "Did you know?" at the very bottom of each respective presidents page. The former presidents' pages aren't "highjacked" by any means. It seems like a very fair thing to do actually. Equating former presidential endeavors and accomplishments with the current president's. How is that narcissistic? It's not propaganda. Republicans are really scraping the bottom of the barrel on this one. At least Obama has accomplishments to brag about. Isn't that what presidents do, talk about the good things they've done for the country? Grow up and do some research before you start slandering. And by the way, this article is the disgrace. The TFP is going downhill fast.

@Joneses.....There's an old saying, Its best to be thought a fool then to open your stupid mouth and remove all doubt. Every time you open that thing it shows you have the mentality of a split pea. As much as republican administrations has screwed this country up from being attacked on 911 to to the previous administration causing the worst recession since the great depression (leaving out the details) always wanting to balance the budget off the backs of the poor and middle class, I would think twice before making the stupid and ridiculous statements you make. I hope you don't have children and if you do, I hope you don't raise them up to be an extreme right wing fruitcake like yourself !

I couldn't help myself. When I read the comments crying narcissism, and then saw conservative hissed the same, I must admit I laughed loudly out loud. (I try never to "LOL")

Don't worry joneses, I don't think all conservs are churchy, just the ones that spontaneously burst into a classic double-speak sermon at the drop of every hat.

I often find much in common with stable conservatives on some issues, and grounded liberals on other issues.

I can't help but snicker though, at jokers like you who have so many dern "wigglin conniptions" over the other teams effort towards progress. As though your "lesser of two evils" really offers any sort of a decent revelation for us regular folks down here in everyday-man land.

Oh, and another perfect irony... joneses calling anyone stupid.

Hey joneses... this place cracks me up. Easy 123 writes "There's an old saying, Its best to be thought a fool then to open your stupid mouth and remove all doubt", and then opened their mouth and removed any doubt with this.

"As much as republican administrations has screwed this country up from being attacked on 911 to to the previous administration causing the worst recession since the great depression (leaving out the details)" It's no wonder they left out the details. (Sorry for the bad grammar, I cut and pasted.)

I guess this person still thinks that no Iranian official has ever stated “The Iranian nation is standing for its cause and that is the full annihilation of Israel”

There's an old saying, Its best to be thought a fool then to open your stupid mouth and remove all doubt. Blaming George Bush for the failures of this pathetic fool you and the rest of you libtards follow like blind sheep is really removing all doubt about how much of a fool you really are.. Tell me moron. How is adding 6 trillion dollars to a debt without anything to show for it healthy for the economy? Are you so stupid you cannot think for yourself and all you have are the libtard talking points? You have nothing good to say about Hussein Obama as all you and your foolish libtards do is blame President Bush. You continue to give Hussein Obama a pass and that alone shows what a POS you are moron. You are nothing but another libtard hypocrite who has the IQ of a grape. Obama has not one success and you are to stupid to see this. Look in the mirror and you will see what a real fool looks like. You pissed and moaned about the Bush tax cuts when president Bush implemented them but gave Hussein Obama a pass when he did same. You pisssed and moaned about how much President Bush added to the debt and now you give Hussein Obama a pass when he is on track to double the amount President Bush added to the debt. With this in mind you are the one that looks like a fool moron.

The libtards are so blind and foolish they have not the capacity to pay attention to facts. It is pretty pathetic that they actually think Hussein Obama is doing a good job when everything he has done has failed them. They are the ones that should be pissed because they elected him on all his promises and Hussein Obama has kept none of them. It is weird. I guess they love being manipulated and lied to.

Did you see how dao1980 started his stupid post? He started it just like a libtard saying "I couldn't help myself". Maybe he is waiting on the government to help him. If he was on an escalator and it came to a stop because of a malfunction he like all libtards would stand their and yell for help versus walk up or down to get off the escalator. Without government or Hussein Obama they cannot function. He is a proven Idiot.

Well joneses, my parents always told me there would be people in this world you have to overlook. I just never knew until now why I find them standing on non-moving escalators.

My apologies to Easy123 from my earlier post. It was lightkeeper that would have a hard time coming up with the details of how George Bush stayed around for more than 3 years helping Obama balloon the debt to the level he has.

It's Easy123 that would have a hard time listing all the accomplishments he claims Obama has to brag about. Where's that list again, joneses? (Oh boy... the other side is not gonna let me forget for asking about joneses' list)

joneses,

Please name something that President Obama has done that affects you negatively.

While you ponder here's a nice list of bragging points:

Established the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform, Created several million jobs, Home foreclosures went down while new-home sales went up, Funding for clean energy sources, World's opinion of US went way up, Tax refunds went up, Made policy to crack down on tax loopholes, Supported and removed restrictions on stem-cell research, Improved veterans benefits, Repealed Don't Ask, Don't Tell, Increased border security, Student loan reform and expansion of Pell grant, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Saved US auto industry, The economy is growing (+5.9% in 4th quarter), Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, Osama Bin Laden is dead... and the list goes on.

I didn't vote for Obama. But he's exponentially better than Bush and I'm positive he would be better than Romney. I just find it funny how much people hate this man for no legitimate reason. But to each his own.

If you cared to educate yourself, you would find that NO Iranian official ever said that.(hint)just google it.

I'm amused at this paper making such a statement, when I recall them co-opting several actions of past presidents for the same purpose.

Sorry, but what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

And really, making fun of editing? Do you have no idea how shallow and petty that makes you sound? Especially when you don't even list what problems you have.

But ok, try this one:

(And I'd invite you to go through archives of the Bush whitehouse web page, but you'd probably never admit doing that yourself.)

acerigger - sorry to disappoint you, but here you go. That was most definitely said, and recently.

“The Iranian nation is standing for its cause and that is the full annihilation of Israel,” Maj. Gen. Hassan Firouzabadi (Iran's military chief of staff) said in a speech to a defense gathering in Tehran, Sunday.

His remarks came on the day International Atomic Energy Agency director Yukiya Amano flew to Tehran to negotiate for inspections of Iran’s nuclear program. They were reported by the Fars News Agency, the media outlet of the Revolutionary Guards Corps.

Be careful speaking of my education whem you're so ignorant.

well, caped crusader.... I'll give you a few successes, that you ..might.. have heard of..

under President Barack Hussein Obama leadership,.... Bin Laden is dead and so are a lot of other nasty 'bad guys'.... tough sanctions on Iran,.. US auto industry rescue plan....

I think President Barack Hussein Obama's greatest success is showing time and time again, how silly, angry, petulant and ignorant republicans/TeaPartiers/conservatives are.
