Tennessee football coach Butch Jones has, for the most part, chosen his words quite carefully and correctly this week regarding the suspensions of linebacker A.J. Johnson and cornerback Michael Williams for their alleged rape of a UT coed.

All that matters, for now, is that the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team has assured itself a spot in the FCS playoffs.

KNOXVILLE — Through all of the injuries and bumps in the road, Zach Azzanni's weekly objective for Tennessee's wide receivers has remained the same.

One couple's love of Chattanooga's outdoor beauty has inspired the newest in a long list endurance races.

Emileigh Swafford had 26 points and five steals as Lee University defeated visiting Tennessee Temple 80-64 in women's basketball Thursday night in Cleveland, and the Lee men won 105-74.

Four players scored in a dominant 4-0 win for the Lee University women's soccer team in the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association Mid-East Region championship match Wednesday night in Cleveland.
