I come as humble as I know how although I seek to grow daily. Will there ever be peace? Just how can peace be defined? Meanwhile I find much comfort in knowing that although man acts as if peace does not exist I know it does.
I remember the many days along the creek and walking and talking in the Sun. There I soaked up the Creation. I had big fun and some said or believed happiness brought joy, but joy lingered. This peace through my eyes was fixed on Jesus. Is this the only way to see peace? One man found peace in money, he thought. But he was confused.
Turmoil To Peace
The world made a great sound as it
reached out to all things foolish.
Man insisted on being selfish and
moved with a great disregard for,
Other human beings. Where was his
fellowman? Wars, famines, lack of food
and water impacted on a great part of the
world.
Many people had no homes and countless
moved displaced as refugees. Conflict regarding
religions and ethnic strife were common place.
However, no one really saw the real pagans,
As the heathens often held the power of the gun.
They also controlled the state house. John
paused in thought seeking solitude once more
than once.
He knew the answer to the greatest dilemmas faced
by man. The west clashed with the east as the middle
east saw opposition from every corner of the earth.
Meanwhile oil, gas, fuel went high in the sky.
There was no compromise and no room for diplomacy.
No one told the truth. Nonviolence was seen as a
social movement but not the answer to these economic
woes.
Many people cried all night long and into the next
day. There was no peace in turmoil. Turmoil tormented
peace. Peace thus defined outside the root of Jesse
gave much to be desired.
Meanwhile the definitive statements made little sense
as one’s world view measured how peace was seen.
The conquerors had their own concept of peace and
turmoil was turmoil for the entire world to see.
There were many sad days when those Black like me hid to read, write and see the Light of day. Make no mistake that education is power as the land holders of chattel humans knew well that an educated man was hard to keep in a cotton field.
Fear or no force, whipped or hanged, a man of letters would run and seek rebellion. Where was nonviolence then? Could passive resistance prove anything? Was the Abolition Movement a social movement for nonviolent change?
Meanwhile the morals and values of the world rot. Good sense thus decays as the doors to separate but not equal schools fell. Thus arising out of its ashes was the natural course of integration however man could not, did not keep up with the natural transition.
FALLEN WORLD
I looked out my window and I
could see the world falling. How
Heaven stood up, intact and on a
firm foundation.
How could the actors of education
the students, the parents, the administrators,
the policy makers say anything as some
saw them as all part of the problem.
Would think-tanks be the answer?
Well they could serve some people,
but only the semblance of some sense
of values, and principles would save the day.
Thus as various institutions meet at the
cross roads in ruins there is a mad rush
to get loose and fancy the ways of the
goats who are lost.
Carl A. Patton, Peace in God 7 January 2012 in the year of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
There are surely as we liveth some that believe that love conquers all. This means the power of love can defeat, conquer and smother hate, malice and bad company. But what is love? Is it first seen in the Creator then the Creation? Not only the east talked of love but so does the west the north and south say love is for all living beings.
This man kicked not a cat nor killed anything of the wild for sport. He ate his fish or threw them back for another day. Meanwhile he heard the following thoughts in inspiration.
Love conquers malice gone wild by the Spirit. Passive moods of resistance equal defense and offense. Dipped in Godly morals but can the pagans really love? Is love defined by those casting love and those that catch love only to drop it in aggression?
All thinkers must evolve in thought are remain stagnant. Can anyone really be a productive thinker and not evolve in thought on some issues? What issues? What are the things that see no end in their description as life moves so does the moods, attitudes, thoughts and desires of human-kind. So did they taste love and some thought they tasted something else.
I Saw Black and White Hats
There was no way to ever get around
the distinct nature of the Black and
White hats.
There would always be some conflict among
the tribes of humankind as some wear
Black hats and some wear White hats.
Some hats are also mixed and some
move as imposters claiming a White
or Black hat.
Some hats fell on other hats as some forgot
what line of hats they hailed from. No hats
were ever assigned goodness nor did any
come before, in life or death in things not
so good.
I wore both hats as no hat defined me.
although I am one man I wear many hats.
I also always seek out a good hat.
Love thus fell in many ways throughout
the Diaspora. However the hats of the
minority also swallowed up the hats of the
majority as the Third World became,
The last World and no one would be allowed
nothing but a Black hat. All hats are good hats if
worn properly. Truth is propped in the hat band
of many hats.
Opinions based on personal bias lost. Truth never
won a hat contest. Facts never fell short of opinion,
however Truth embraced both. But who said hats and Truth
are on trial?
THE WIND BLEW ACROSS THE LAND
(Victory Park, 4-7-09, By Carl A. Patton)16 January 2012
This was another great day as those that
liveth live to write and tell the story. A
cool breeze blew as winter still had gone
and come back but the sky was clear, cloudy
and blue.
The trees that swayed in the constant wind
waved at a reluctant sun. However there was
a clean, pure and serene element in the air.
The trees even in a great storm meant no harm
as they fell upon the ground.
But some of the things man made presented
another picture. However some of the human
element appreciated the great trees and sought
to preserve the forest. But many laid nature to
waste as they claimed nothing but self.
Sadly some never realized that God sent the
wind. The Spirit in the wind touched all that
were still and all things that moved. The wind
could not be bought nor could you barter for the
wind at the store or market.
To the righteous this was Good News. To the
lost this was sadness as they believed that all
things have a money price. Meanwhile nature
spoke to me once more and I felt peace. Even
in the midst of a storm there was peace.
This peace existed among those that stayed
in the Spirit. Thus all days are good days and
all days are a time to give praise.
It is a sad commentary to see Black celebrities and athletes on national TV bashing their fathers and the Black man in general. This is one of the most ignorant and stupid acts committed in the Black community. Any man should know that all women are not virtuous. Thus, you are a fool to think that your mother is a virgin with children. We do not advocate that the sons of Black women disrespect their mothers. But we do advocate that the sons should know that there are two sides to a story. It is also true that some cases of abandonment are the result of an irresponsible man, but women can also be irresponsible. But to get on national TV to bash your father is taken as an indictment on all Black men. Therefore, the Brothers in this situation should be quiet. Keep this hatred to yourself. One has to realize that any negative information about the irresponsibility of Black men feed into racists stereotypes. Thus, My Brother you surely do Not want to assist in your own demise, Now Do You? Meanwhile, the so-called abandonment by the Black man may be for a valid reason. A reason like "Who is Your Daddy?"
Therefore when Black celebrities get on TV they should think twice about embarrassing themselves and the Black community with negative statements about their fathers. The attitude of self hate by some of our most prominent celebrities re-enforces the on-going racism and disunity within the Black family and the Black community.
We would also be remiss if we did not note the scheme of dissension seen in the upward mobility of Black women. Once again we will preface our comments with a statement. We are not making any claims as to the lack of ability and skill of many Black women. Thus, many Black female professionals are deserving of the new found positions in administration etc.
We do note that in many instances the promotion of Black women has been done to cause havoc and ruin within the Black family and the Black community. Many Black female professionals that rise above their husbands in income and job position often take on a different value system. This value system is generated by racism with the expected results of disunity within the family and the Black community. Thus many of these women denounce their Black husband for White men and take on a general attitude of dis-respect for Black men.
Do Black women receive concessions from the institution of racism for dis-respecting Black men? Historically in America and the Diaspora there has been a different relationship between the Black man and the Black woman with the White man. Therefore Black women and/or the Black community should be well aware and not deny this great difference. This is the difference that allows a Black woman to find employment before the Black man. This is the difference that produces a non-threatening relationship in the work place for Black women and throughout society.

Part 9: The Breeding of Self Hate
Throughout this series we have attempted to note what we believe to be some very important statements regarding the Black family. But as we close this series of articles on "The Crisis of the Black Male;" we will bring up for review one of the most important concerns within the Black family. If the Black man is in crisis, who is responsible? Surely the economics of racism has played a great part in this crisis. But there are also some other concerns that need to be brought up for review. Once again we see that the developing philosophy of racism has caused many Blacks to become their own worst enemy.
Therefore we see a crisis that becomes more pronounced by those who are set in crisis. The historic dis-organization of the Black family has resulted in many female heads of households. Many of these female heads of households have male children. Many of these Black women also have anger toward the father of their children. In some cases these women have children by more than one man.
We will preface our future statements by noting that we do not come to apologize for irresponsible and no-good Back men nor do we come to apologize for irresponsible Black women. But we do come to note that all Black men that have had children out of wedlock etc. are not irresponsible. We do not deny the immorality of sex without marriage but our point here has more to do with the love and care for the mother and the children. We also come to note that all Black men that did not raise their children and/or provide for the mothers of the children did not abandon these women and children. Often there are other factors that need to be addressed. Promiscuous behavior is only noted when two promiscuous people come together. The result of promiscuous behavior is often off-spring. Nothing is comical about bringing illegitimate children into the world and the following phrase, "Who is Your Daddy?" is not meant for comic relief: It is for sure that this phrase rings quite often in many so-called broken homes:
In so many female heads of households hatred toward the Black man develops. This hatred is confusing because most of these women continue to enjoy relationships with Black men. But many of these women teach their sons (many also teach all of their off-spring) hatred for their fathers. Thus, we pose the following question: "Do many Black mothers sanction and teach their sons to hate their fathers? Does this hatred become unconscious self hate for Black manhood? How then does this hatred impact on "The Black Male in Crisis?"
THE CALLOUS & OFTEN CRUEL TREATMENT OF THE POOR
(Part 1: Introduction to Poverty
“There was once a man called and commissioned to record the deeds, life and times of those that are said to have not. He had to have been in the bread line also to feel not the pain as he knew Jesus then and now.”
Greetings Brethren,
Peace be unto you. To the Church and believing Christians everywhere. To those that believe in the Bible as the supreme authority that governs all of humankind. In this we give thanks to God the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit that leads and guides us the straightway.
Beloved we have time and time again once more than once commissioned and ordained to render a report on the poor. Therefore as the world sets certain standards many people move upon God’s green earth as the destitute, impoverished, indigent, needy, penniless, poverty-stricken, underprivileged, miserable and shabby. Thus their story continues to unfold. But really who are these people?
Are you born poor or rich? Is wealth only counted up in material things? Are those born poor always able to move up the economic ladder in the land of the Free? Can one move up and down? Why are some rich and some poor? Just how is poverty (poor, Po) defined? Are there automatic built-in problems that embrace exploitation among all that are poor? Is love found among all people rich or poor, poor or rich? Is it ridiculous to note poverty as a state of mind?
A Faceless Man
The man who offered me a hand up I knew
not his name. Meanwhile no one knew they
were poor at birth however, many did know
that they were rich as the rich spoke of such
and lived in a way that lifted them up.
The poor saw beautiful sun filled skies and
tasted the water at the cool and refreshing
Indian Spring where many Native Americans
had been looked upon as human beings and
not as ruthless savages invented by other men.
All were not shiftless or lazy that did not amass
wealth, money and things material. Some were
held down in place by those that squatted on
economic privilege as a mother hen on eggs that
never hatched. Thus all were not rich or poor.
There had to be a balance and after all the rich
and the poor were only in the eyes of the beholder.
But many paid more for poverty as the hens and
roosters of the chicken house looked for ways to cash
in on an already broke cash cow.
But I saw love in all human beings, rich, poor,
Black, Brown, White, Red, and Yellow but green
became the number for many that frowned on those
that had few shoes to wear and hardly clothes to place
on the backs of their children.
It was dark of night and I could not see however,
a hand reached out for me and those like me in a mood
of compassion in all times of need and trouble. I saw not
the face nor was the name important. I saw love at midnight
and this was rich nor poor.
CAN FREEDOM BE PERSECUTED?
(20 June 2009 Carl A. Patton)
16 January 2012: EXCERPT
Greetings Brethren,
In the name of God, Master of the Universe, Ruler of the earth
Peace be unto you. To the Church (as founded by Christ and the Apostles) and believing Christians everywhere. To those that believe in the Bible (the Spirit of God) as the supreme authority that governs all of humankind. In this we give thanks to God the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit that leads and guides us the straightway.
Beloved can anyone really actually deny the Freedom that is rendered to those liberated in Jesus? Just what is Freedom? Freedom is noted as the quality or state of being free. Not being under another’s control. The power to do or say what one pleases; liberty. Freedom of speech, freedom of religion and freedom of the press. As a Free Press (FreedomJournal Press) we have experienced challenges to our Freedom of Religion, Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press. Our Academic Freedoms were also challenged as early as 1971 thus paving the way for a life-long sojourn as a writer with Freedom on our lips that has been guaranteed in Christ. So what is Free? Can Free or Freedom be really defined in the secular world?
Are the people that are Free in Christ the only people that can understand the true meaning of Freedom? For example one does not know the true love of a woman if both are not saved and have Jesus first in their hearts. Well FreedomJournal are you saying one can only know love especially the love of a woman only when they accept Christ as the way to the Father? Therefore a Godly man can only truly love a Godly woman and vice versa. So if Freedom can only be adequately defined and explained in the Spiritual realm can one ever persecute the righteous who know God and are Free?
Meanwhile Freedom to those that believe (those that know God and Christ) is something that exists above any actions of man. Therefore can this Freedom be persecuted? Are the attempts to deny Freedom of Christianity/Freedom of Religion persecution of those that believe? But can the lost deny Freedom that comes from God?
The following is an excerpt taken from a Censored and Banned Doctoral Dissertation entitled “The Black Conspiracy: The Rise and Fall of a Commission Form of Government.”
A note on a historical precedent in re-districting in Chattanooga.
CHAPTER FIVE
BLACK LEADERSHIP AND REDISTRICTING OF THE 29th DISTRICT
An important example that depicts the lack of concern for the interests of the Black community by Black officials is the redistricting plan for the 29th legislative district. Redistricting plans in the Tennessee State Legislature in 1980 drastically changed the precinct make up of the 29th legislative District in Chattanooga. With only one Black state representative from Chattanooga, the restructuring of the 29th district presently insures only one representative from the Black community.
The evidence suggests that the plan to dilute the Black vote in the 29th district was known to the Black leadership structure well before it was introduced and passed in the General Assembly. From my observation as an employee of city government (the office of the commissioner of Health and Education), I gained firsthand knowledge of the proposed plan from my employers. I would argue that John Franklin (Commissioner of Health and Education) and specifically Clarence Robinson (state representative 28th district) did not challenge the redistricting plan they evidently found it more politically rewarding to support an obvious dilution of the Black vote. From my investigation, no one in the Black leadership structure chose to challenge the redistricting plan. In fact, the average citizen did not know that the redistricting plan had been imposed. As a resident of the 29th district, I drafted a letter to Mr. Laughlin McDonald, Director of the American Civil Liberties Union, Atlanta, Georgia. (1)
The American Civil Liberties Union responded to the correspondence August 5, 1982. The response consisted of a cover letter by Laughlin McDonald (2) and a memorandum prepared by Neil Bradley. (3) Mr. Bradley's memo clearly assumes that the present information is not sufficient to contest the case.
Revelation 20: 11 “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and he was found no place for them.”
There will be justice that the earth has never seen in time. Those that have disturbed the earth and its people and all things that liveth will be counted. “Great White Throne,” indicates purity and justice. We also would be remiss if we did not note that there is a belief coming from the Afro-Centric community that the notation of White being pure and Black the opposite is a confession of racial superiority and Black inferiority. However, we come to note that the Bible in no way contributes to any racist thoughts conjured up by anyone Black or White.
The next chapter will tell us of the new heaven and the new earth. Thus there is an agreement noted here in those that will be rendered peace and those that will be rendered some other measure of judgment.
Follow us over to II Peter 3 for a word on this verse that will help with our on-going inspiration and understanding.
Many Bible scholars note the beginning of II Peter 3 and the first 7 verses to reflect on “Mockery In the Last Days.” These are the days for many that still come denying the ever presence of the Lord. Our primary verse here is verse 7.
II Peter 3: 7 “But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.”
The Heavens and earth noted here is the same as noted in the 5th verse. Heavens and earth were created by the word of God.
After the people of the earth were destroyed by the flood except Noah and his family the heavens and earth were left still in existence and once again the earth was inhabited by people. Meanwhile the earth will be permitted to remain until the Day of Judgment because man is to live on it that long. But those that do not believe that God created the Heavens and the earth see not these things. Meanwhile there is peace in the waiting for the righteous.

A Faceless Man
The man who offered me a hand up I knew not his name. Meanwhile no one knew they were poor at birth however, many did know that they were rich as the rich spoke of such and lived in a way that lifted them up.
The poor saw beautiful sun filled skies and tasted the water at the cool and refreshing Indian Spring where many Native Americans had been looked upon as human beings and not as ruthless savages invented by other men.
All were not shiftless or lazy that did not amass wealth, money and things material. Some were held down in place by those that squatted on economic privilege as a mother hen on eggs that never hatched. Thus all were not rich or poor.
There had to be a balance and after all the rich and the poor were only in the eyes of the beholder. But many paid more for poverty as the hens and roosters of the chicken house looked for ways to cash in on an already broke cash cow.
But I saw love in all human beings, rich, poor, Black, Brown, White, Red, and Yellow but green became the number for many that frowned on those that had few shoes to wear and hardly clothes to place on the backs of their children.
It was dark of night and I could not see however, a hand reached out for me and those like me in a mood of compassion in all times of need and trouble. I saw not the face nor was the name important. I saw love at midnight and this was rich nor poor.
Supreme Court upholds Christian schools' religious liberty
CAN FREEDOM BE PERSECUTED? (20 June 2009 Carl A. Patton) 16 January 2012: EXCERPT
Chattanooga's racially charged redistricting debate
The following is an excerpt taken from a Censored and Banned Doctoral Dissertation entitled “The Black Conspiracy: The Rise and Fall of a Commission Form of Government.” A note on a historical precedent in re-districting in Chattanooga.
Peace, Carl A. Patton

Part II
Revelation 20: 11 “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and he was found no place for them.” There will be justice that the earth has never seen in time.
II Peter 3: 7 “But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” The Heavens and earth noted here is the same as noted in the 5th verse.
Cont. Part 10: Part II There Will Come A Time When All That Liveth Will Be Held Accountable (Revelation 20: 12-13)
Peace and Paradise,
Brother Carl, this day December 30 in the year of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus 2011. My days your days and the days of all that liveth and all that will expire are not long.
